oil pressure problem

oil pressure problem
I noticed as the weather got warmer my jeep oil pressure drops when i come to a stop at a stop light,and i begen to start smoking. can anyone please help me with some suggestions to what i can do to fix that thanx

Always post the year/engine of your XJ for the most accurate replies. There are significant differences through the years.....
1. Figure out why the engine is smoking. Are you seeing the oil level go down on the dipstick? Running a compression test on all cylinders is a good "snapshot in time" of the internal condition of the engine.
2. The oil pressure spec for the 4.0 is below. If you are within these spec numbers, you are okay.
*Not less than 13 psi at HOT idle
*Between 37-75 psi over 1600 rpms

sorry its a 1995 jeep cherokee sport with a 4.0 L6 from a 1996 jeep country. But the oil pressure never droped that low in the fall or winter so it kinda made me worry. So if it flucuates it should still be ok
