1993 stock 4.0 20psi hot or cold everything ok ... but lately past couple of months less and less pressure okay than after driving the other day it went down to 5 psi and the motor started rattling very loudly on the top end like no pressure...and it never got much better even after an oil change and filter ... I pulled the engine apart which had been rebuilt by somebody ... company longblock job.. anyhow.. pulled it all apart and found that the crank had been turned .010 rods new 0.30 pistons etc...... well i got a rebuild kit and a melling high volume oil pump and low and behold found the problem... the motor was starving for oil because the cam bearings were bad like the oil stopped there and didn't go any further the cam and lifters are in awesome shape like no problem but the bearings are chewed up like a pit bull chewed on them ... new bearings this week and problems should be over... but just remember this next time you have oil pressure problems its in the bearings or pump.... just pull the dam motor and geter done......or send it to the shop and ill fix it ....

For real, mine was totally a worn out pump
