ok got a big issue...
i was out wheeling after work when we came across a guy and in a yj that broke an axle in the trail and the axle started walking out the side of the truck and so forth ...long story short get it towed to my shop ( it was close and i got a paying job outta it .. ) so i get it on the lift, pop the cover and find...welded spiders.. oh goodie, the guy had his buddy weld up the rear and the guy welded the spiders to the pin to the axles it is completly solid... any ideas on how the i can get this apart or should i tell him i'm going to the jy and he's getting a new rear??

yea you would have to cut it out, and would be in danger of damaging the diff or mounting points.
