Ok transmission is in. Now Im having Problems.

Think about what happens when the tranny is in gear with the transfercase in 2h. The front driveshaft slins freely while the rear shaft is being powered. Same think happens in Park The front can turn but the rear is locked.

Ok I unhook the linkage and I was able to move the vehicle. I didnt get to drive it yet but I will after work. I went to the junkyard today to look for the shift linkage and found that there is a whole bracket and linkage assembly. I thought there was just a bar. but bought the assembly and going to hook it up later.

Ok I test drove the vehicle in 2h and it drives amazing. now I just have to install the shift linkage and I will be good to go.

Keep in mind that without seeing your pinion angle, or any of the front end components all anyone can do is guesstimate. Too little pinion angle will cause vibes and eat up your drive shaft u-joints in a hurry.

If the cups on the shaft arent seated in the recess of the yoke correctly (yeah, i'v done it) it will set the driveshaft off-center and induce vibe.
Easy and free to check.. I cant think of anything else that could go bad while the Jeep just happened to be sitting dormant (this didnt exist before the swap?)
How was your trans mount? It's tight?
