I have an 85 xj Pioneer with I4 3spd auto and factory 3.73s
Verified it when I had the cover off to change the fluid. There are numbers stamped on the ring and you divide them to get the ratio, check the reply in this thread for info

I haven't had this one on the road yet, still reviving it from the dead, but I know the original owner and no faster than he drove it I imagine it was ok for him lol. May need to change them once I get it on the road.
