so I started down the list on your website, all my connectors look good, I live in a area with little rust, I can almost get it to start holding the pedal to the floor. Would that be my TPS that's gone out?

Holding your foot to the floor is the "clear flood" mode. That leads me to think it might be the MAP sensor or its hose.
The MAP has the largest bearing on fuel mixture of all the sensors.

Have you tried a little starting fluid into the throttle body yet?

It's alive!!!!! So after testing every sensor on the engine using the renix manual my wife found online and every sensor testing good, I said eff it and sprayed a LOT of starting fluid down the throttle body while cranking it and eventually it started. Immediately I noticed a large hissing noise and found my IAC was wide open. Now, I assume the computer saw this large amount of unmetered air and was giving it all the fuel trying to compensate for it? Maybe I'm wrong but I have an IAC on order because it idles like crap. I'm hoping this helps someone out there with the same problem. I did try to clean the IAC during all my troubleshooting. The damn thing is hot to the touch after only idling for a minute or so, so that tells me it's working too hard and needs replaced. Thank you cruiser for all your assistance and your wonderful website. I am still working down your list just because I'm planning on some back country adventures in this jeep and don't want to get stranded somewhere.

Ha! I came across this again a few days ago and made me think of you Cruiser. Still wish I could send you a can, for the name alone

Did the IAC fix your issues? I have replaced the IAC within the last year.. but I guess they can fail... cheap aftermarket parts. My 95 zj keeps cutting off. It's got to be a sensor or maybe a bad wire in the wire harness, or worse cracks in the computer solder... I'm about to give up on it. mine is a straight 6. I was thinking maybe the NSS but it cranks over... NSS would cause a no crank situation.

The IAC did fix my issue, but now when it's cold out, it idles to around 2800 RPM, so I have something else I need to chase down.
