olympic winch bumper pic request
Does any one have any pics of an olympic winch bumper installed on their xj, and if you have pics of it with the stinger hoop that would be cool. how does it mount. is it strong. how heavy is it.

i was looking for some side views too so i can see how far it wraps around. i am tossed up between the warn bumper and the olympic bumper. olympic has won me over with the price. so far. but i want to see how much im getting for my money. so far what i like about it is that the winch sits below the grill so it does not block air flow. but other than that idk how strong it is and how much it protects. and how far it sticks out

Olympic has a great rep among the Jeeping community. Ver strong and great customer service. That was the only pic I could find of a Cherokee winch bumper Sry.

Only issue I have with Olympic winch bumpers is 1/8" steel and no d-ring tabs....Personally I'd look at JCR Offraod instead...just as good a pricing and for around $450 plus shipping you can get a JCR winch bumper made with 3/16" steel which is thicker...Plus it ties right into the unibody frame and not the stock bumper mounts..

Another shop to look at and the one I will use is custom 4xr4 fab...They are local for me so that's one good read but I have always heard great things about them...

He bolded the 1/8" part so I assume he was saying no thanks to the thickness of the metal..
I am looking at JCR myself and have only heard great things about them, except for the shipping time, but unless you are on a build deadline should be no problem waiting for a good product.

What kind of bumper are you going with? I really like the slim and simple look of the JCR bumpers.. If they can make something similar for cheaper I would definately be interested...

Also if you prefer the totally slim design talk to em I bet they could accommodate pretty easily for about the same price..
