Its no problem bud... Don't do any repair your not comfortable with just because someone suggests it.. Ask questions and do your research...

Although this one is pretty straight forward.. I don't think your going to have any problems... just keep us posted!

Because in that case your TPS might be failing due to moisture.if you suspect a fuel delivery issue, spray some starter fluid in the throttle body...if it starts, look into fuel issue. iac and throttle body is good maintenance.

you could put a fuel pressure guage on it, with the engine shut down check for fuel pressure bleed down. You may have one or more injectors leaking down into the cylinders causing it to basically flood out.
If you got good spark, and it cranks but dont start yoou could also pull a plug/plugs and smell them for fuel.

Starting with pedal to the floor, makes it start in so-called Clear Flood Mode, in which the injectors are shut...could be a clue towards leaking injectors. Or a subpar TPS...

There are whole threads on that question....
IF you're planning to eventually upgrade, you might as well look into that now. But first I would just check things, before you Gung Ho with all kinds of new parts..

Thanks for all the ideas guys
This is a great forum. I am planning on borrowing a fuel pressure gage from an auto parts store either today or tomorrow when I get time.

What are the specs for pressure?
I do not have an owners manual, and my Haynes manual is in the mail.
