Opinion on snorkel setup needed

Other than not being close to the air box, I think it looks fine. A lot of people choose function over form, which is what this appears to be.
If you haven't browsed around at a lot of snorkel set ups, you'll find that a lot of TJ, YJ and Hummvees have a similar system.
I'd love to see a write up on this when you're done, as I'm always looking for great do-it-yourself modifications.

looks good, did you check and make sure the hood dosnt hit it when you open it?

yeah I placed that with the hood open. It just touches. The cereal bowl...err cap will be removable anyways. I'll have a straight up 1ft extension like the hummers if i ever decide to take a trip across the Atlantic.

nice looking xj. I'm not a big fan of the hood vents, but the snorkel looks awesome. I was never a fan of the ones running up the side. If you had a write-up on that it'd be nice to see
