I have a 98 XJ Limited & ive never been able to figure out how to work some of the features in that over head digital display. I know it tells me,
- my avg mpg,
- how many gallons im using as I drive,
- the outside temp,
but I cant figure out what I think is a triptometer & how to reset it or a clock & how to set that as well? ( & yes I researched but only came close & not exactly).

To reset, put it on a function that can be reset, then push and hold both buttons at the same time. That will reset everything. It should give you elapsed trip time since reset, miles since reset, MPG and distance to empty. DTE and MPG may need a few minutes after reset to get close to accurate. Keep in mind it may not give you accurate readings with your mods unless you have adjusted for them.
