overcooling

my jeep runs too cool when driving and its killing my gas mileage any ideas I just flushed out the engine radiator and heater core and did the thermostat but once im moving it doesnt get above 160 and if it does its very briefly

im havving the same problem in my grand. but i already replaced the thermostat and it didnt change anything

its been 65-90 here and even in traffic it never goes over 150-160. my next step was to replace the coolant temp sensor. and my heat blows hot

I have the 190 in it and its like 50 outside what do I do use the cardboard infront of the radiator?also can I put in plugs with a higher heat range

higher temp plugs will toast you engine the card board might help like the tractor trailers do you no

ill try that should i put it inbetween the cooler and radiator since i dont wanna block off cooling from both

you mean the temp sending unit to see if maybe you gauge is not correct

try the card board but maybe use black duct tape to the grill line nascar doeslike one long pc going from side to side like half the grill you no this is strange eall other temp probs are over heating
