grand son ran engine out water engine quit on him now engine spin over easy thinking stuck rings or valves anyone had this problem I am thinking engine overhaul. any Ideals how to save engine.
going to do compression check and fill cylinders with marvel mystery oil any ideals would be helpful thanks

Spins easy? I'd wager a blown headgasket and depending on how severely over heated, i'd guess cracked block or head.

Agree on head gasket...PCM will shut down the motor on excessive overheat condition. That usually will save the motor mechanically. If you yank the head, send it to a shop to be magna fluxed for cracks and they can check for warp....

pull compression check #1 cylinder 90 psi all the rest cylinders no compression pulling head hope to fine blown head gasket and no head cracks when I check with die will take head have it head rework.
