I was driving home from the parts store and my Jeep started to spew white smoke. My Jeep sprung a coolant leak and caused the engine to get a little hot. The leak is at the transmission
disconnect line. Is there a gasket of some sorts that can be replaced or any other reasons it would leak from that area? Pic is of the connector.
From your picture, it looks like one whole side of the disconnect is missing. That's a transmission fluid cooling line, I believe and the white smoke is tranny fluid burning on the exhaust pipe. It should smell like hot gear oil.
Let me rephrase the question. There is this type of connector near the battery tray going into the radiator. It is on the passenger side of the vehicle. Could it be leaking coolant? I was driving and home coolant in the form of white smoke was coming out and the jeep got right above 210. Is it more likely the the upper radiator hose is.

Those aren't tranny lines. Those are AC lines.
Wondering if you have a bad line and that is R134.
Does it look green?
Any chance you had some work done and they put dye in there looking for a leak?

It is green. I had my AC serviced years ago and it went out a couple months ago and Haven been bothered to fix it. Could that be it?

I have been confused by this thread from the get go.
You started talking about a coolant leak at the tranny,
The first pictures looked like AC lines no where near the tranny.
There are no coolant lines near the tranny.
I guess a heater core line could drip coolant down the firewall on the tranny but....
Second picture definitely AC lines.
Are you low coolant?
Dye to check for an AC leak is a fluorescent greenish/yellowish color so........

Couldnt really check because the car was still hot. The coolant overflow was fine.
