Not that I know anything about a 2000, but at some point the Map moved from the firewall to the side, (thanks Salad!) of the TB. It might, (or might not) have a little "L" line under it, into the TB. Compression test/ fuel pressure and the copper plugs...No AC delco..

MAP should do more than a single cylinder misfire. On 97+ it's mounted to the passenger side of the TB.
Did ya manage to see if Partsource had fuel pressure testers? Dunno what its like down there but up this way the wind chill is like -32 tonight 5w40 and block heater... Awh yeeeaaah...

2000's had the thinner head. Are you losing any coolant? If it gets big enough it can cause a misfire reading on the computer.
Ive had 6 Ford Aerostars in our company and 5 of them had this happen.

You can always do the water treatment again. Can't hurt.

Update
Well here's a weird little update for you all.
Been having a little problem with vibration on my new hack'n tap. Used a front driveshaft I had left over from my 90 XJ I got rid of 5 years ago. Put new joints in it, cleaned everything up, greased the centering bearing and put it on. Still vibrated like crazy. In fact it vibrated so bad it threw a bunch of new codes having to do with the speed sensor.
So Wednesday night I just removed the shaft and removed the negative battery cable. Let it sit for awhile then hooked it back up.
Have been driving it for the last 2 days and it runs fine. No miss and no code!!!!
I don't know what I did to fix it but I hope it stays that way. I'd rather spend my time on getting my lift finished!
I'm still going to do a compression test and pull the valve cover. Needs a new one anyway.

try running a higher octane fuel. idk what they have in canada, but here we have 87 89 and 93. next time you put gas in throw like 10 or 20 bucks of premium in it. you'd be surprised at what octane rating can do. especialy sence the gas is 10% ethanol now.. always do simple tests before you throw parts..

Regular gas in Port Huron Michigan goes for around 3.25 to 3.45 a gallon.
Across the river in Sarnia Ontario where that gasoline in that Michigan gas station is refined by the way is about $5.00.
So if it won't run on regular (which it was designed for) then there is something else wrong than just the fuel. Unless it was a 4.6 stroker like Cruiser's above I doubt it would preform any better.
Any parts I threw at it were planned to be replaced anyways. Well maybe not the coil pack but now I have one to experiment with.
