I do not believe everything I read, just thought I'd share what I came across researching the AW4.
I've yet to see anything that was 'rebuilt' be as good as new. Remanufactured seems to be the ticket, but even at that, the butchers take short cuts and go with the high side of tolerences if they leave a part in-place rather than install a new part.

Automatic transmissions seem to be the playground of butchers. Toss a few new seals in it and kick it out the door "Rebuilt".
