painting my bumper...any tips before i jump in?

for the wet sanding i just use a piece of (about) 5-600 grit paper and let the water hose trickle over the part and just sand it then feel for rough spots then sand then repeat for about 15 mins.
as for the grill you might be able to get a black one for next to nothing from the jy instead of spending time re painting yours.
as for the flares idk i ripped mine off then took a grinder to them and gut them as high as possible then folded the seams and rough edges over with a hammer so it wont slice my 35s when it rubs

paint bumper
I have mine off for the same reason to put a hitch on, mine was scratched up pretty bad, I used 180grit, then 320grit, then scuff pad, then surface prep (acetone), primer, scuff pad again, spray on bedliner, then color matched top coat. Did the back and the front

okay how the hell does the rear bumpercaps come off? i got the two bolts on the bottom off but the one with the plastic head just confuses the crap outa me. bout to just break it lol

bumper off
The top curls under and there are 2 nuts on the inside of the bumper, once the end caps are off look inside, I was able to reach mine with a racheting wrench, but, it wasn't easy! make sure to soak em with pb blaster
