Very nice guys ...I want to do this sometime soon. What kind of sanding do it start off with? What kind of grit...hand, orbital? Wet or dry? Thanks

2 quarts Moss Green camo paint from the local ranch supply store. A good friend with a spray gun, one plastic clad garage.
Yeah, I know its not a XJ... But same idea.

I'm doing the same thing next weekend. Yesterday I scraped off all the gold pin striping and took off all the badges. Next weekend I'll start sanding and painting. I should have pics up by Monday evening.....

I've camo'd a couple of "farm trucks" a couple of red scuff pads & about 6-8 cans of paint should do the trick, the better paint like Rustoleum covers better & sticks much better too. If its white already, why not do a "winter camo" look? It'd be different & you wouldn't have as much work on your hands.... Just my $.02
