Default Park lights on front not working.

I have a 96 4 door 5 speed i just inherited from my mom that has spent pretty much it's whole life on a coal mine haul road. I have a lot of cleaning to do. anyhow. i turn the lights on and the dash lights, headlights, high and low, tail lights and tag lights work fine. but the front and side front markers do not come on. the turn sigs work fine. i'm at a loss. anyone got any suggestions?

so i've been going thru the search and i'm gonna go try a few things, gonna check grounds, (i doubt this is it because the turn sigs work). Check the plug under the air box. Last i guess it could be the headlight switch. i've never had one just cause the front parks to quit working. the last one that went bad on me caused everything but the headlights to stop working. i guess anything is possible tho. any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

sounds like a broken wire somewhere. when i bought my 87 the PO had tried to wire in a trailer wiring connector and cut all of the wires to the tail lights. it was so bad that when i stepped on my brakes the headlights and all parking lights would turn on. so i took out all his wiring and spliced them back to the proper place and now they work fine. so i would check your wiring first.

Just havins the headlights is like old school. Personally I wouldn't mind it, but I would get the front side marker working though.

Good call. Wire corroded in half at the harness plug under the air box.
