GM Killer 5.0

Hello, new to jeeps, picked up a winter beater, 2001 Jeep Cherokee Classic.

Passenger window when I got it, was wedged up. I took it apart, put it back in the track, and tested the power window motor, it worked, when I jumped the power/ground to go both up and down.

So i figured it was probably the switch on the drivers door, because when I would raise and lower the window it wouldn't stop itself, it would click the motor. So I ordered a new drivers window switch, swapped it out, and I still have the same problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check fuse # 15. This is a 25 amp fuse for passenger power window as well as passenger door lock.

Want to make sure I am understanding you correctly.
So when rolling up, or down, the passenger side window if you keep your finger on the button the window will not automatically stop?
Will keep on trying to go up or down until you let off the switch?
If so sound like the window regulator.
