What if any performance parts would be worth buying in place of OEM?
Not for no reason, if the original part is broken or you are doing regular maintenance.

An automatic transmission equiped rig should have a transmission temperature gage me thinks. nice up grade, that will remind you to down shift to reduce converter slip, and thus maintain better temperature.

LED dome light bulbs and stop light bulbs. in the stop lights the led is a safety enhancer, brighter and faster than a regular bulb, this may prevent you getting run into. easy upgrade. the back up light also can benefit from the much brighter led bulb. nice upgrade too add a high mount third brake light if not equiped so already.

also a locking gas cap can be useful in the biden era of high inflationary gasoline prices, and his war on petroleum fuel..

larger sway bars are always fun. since most jeeps live 90% of their life on road, its way better to make that 90% more enjoyable. and it makes the honda guys unhappy when a Cherokee kills them through the turns

Overall performance. If it will increase the life of my Jeep then I will be happy to consider adding it, but I am looking for ideas that will increase the life of the Jeep even if I take it off road. If that makes sense. I just would like to keep my Jeep for a long time and I never considered non-oem parts and after off roading I thought I thought maybe improving some parts could be a good idea.

Nice, yeah I don't kill anybody on any turns. My Jeep does nothing fast.

What are those shocks on that sway bar about? That seems like a cool thing to install. I don't think I would take my sway bar off or upgrade it.
Can you have steel bumpers and sway bars at the same time?

Add to life of the jeep, how about filters for your tranny and pwr steering fluid?

https://magnefinefilters.com/

an aft cooler?

led brake light bulbs are a great safety upgrade, brighter and faster light up time.
