Has anyone used it? I have a tube of it from when I changed my water pump. Tomorrow I am changing the fluid in my 8.25 and was wondering if it will hold up. It is on my water pump, but the diff will be exposed to the weather and everything.

Yes it will work.. just have to make sure both surfaces are clean with no oil what so ever... and this means clean clean clean... no oil residue at all.... then put gasket maker on and bolt on .. and you need to let it dry for several hrs before you refill it...

Why so long it cured in about an hour when I used it on my water pump.

It might work, but I would recommend black super RTV or if you really want to do a good job and refill the diff within 30 minutes use "the right stuff". That is the only sealant you'll ever need.

because you dont want it to leak.. so if you can let it sit.. let it...it takes a few hrs to set up completly...
