Here is my 2in RE BB with full AAL. I thought about going 3.5in for quite sometime and decide since this is still my DD and gas prices suck I could settle for 2in for quite awhile. I am pretty happy with my decision because it was a fairly easy kit to put on and it gave me the height I wanted to fit 30's and if I want 31's. Just figure out what height you really want to sit at and save your money to get the appropriate kit in my opinion.

heres a good comparison from a google search.

top is stock and bottom is OME 2" lift.

Is that really a 2" lift? it seems more like 1". I've seen many old man emu lifted xj's and they are all taller than that.

One of the ways to break in new full packs is to load down teh rear with about 200 lbs and drive around for a couple days like that. It'll settle.

When I got my new packs I took the shocks off for a day or so, knowing I wouldn't be doing Interstate or long drives, to break them in.

ya thats a 2" lift, it could be the body trim that is throwing you off.

thanx for all the help and pics,, but one question do I need to change the brake lines??

also since im on a budget,, I dont have the money for the complete set,, so I plan on buying just procomp shocks and then the lift,, probably its going to be 2" or so...

It has truetwo spacers, they're 2 1/4", compared to other spacers that only measure 1 3/4". After swapping some leafs my packs are a hair shy of 3". Those are 235/75's on there now, soon it'll have 31's!

So it's a 2-3" lift!

I just straightened out the front hard lines, no problems with the rear yet. For the rear line on my 88 XJ w/ 4.5" lift, I used a stock 95 YJ line it's a few inches longer than the stock XJ line.
