play in axle shafts chrysler 8.25
I have a chrysler 8.25 and today when i pulled the rear tires, I noticed that the axles had a seemingly large amount of play in and out of the axle tube. Is this normal. I never noticed it before but i guess i never really looked before. I know that the axle needs some amount of play to remove the c-clips when taking the axle shaft out, but should there be any play with the tires installed?
Thanks in advance for any advice

there will be a little play in it for the reason you stated not sure how much it actually is.Your best bet if you think it is excessive drain the rear and check the c clips and side gears to make sure

Thats what i planned on doing tomorrow. I just wanted to see if anyone knew whether or not it is a severe problem because I have to drive it to and from work and school every day so I wanted to make sure I wasn't causing any harm to it until i get a chance to pull it apart. Thanks for the response tho
