Default Please Help Jeep Renix 1987

Please help i have a jeep cherokee 1987 renix and im getting alot of backfire and no power in drive. I can feather the throttle and i can get it to rev higher in park. But it still backfires and bogs down. Completely losses power in drive when pressing the gas and just back fires and bogs down.
New Fuel pump, New fuel filter 34 to 38psi running will go up to 40psi when i disconnect vacuum line on fuel regulator. Fuel pressure.at 34psi after running and shut off for a while. They guy I bought it from broke the fly wheel and pulled the transmission back a few inches to replace it. When he did he broke the cam position senor. Since then a new one has been put in and has the correct omhs. The air filter box has been removed. Fuel resistor has been taken out. I think i got the vacuum lines right. Not 100 percent. Map senor has been checked and is getting vacuum. Grounds by the dip stick have been fixed and mounted to the firewall with a big bolt and bare metal. Knock senor ordered on its way and also coolant senor. Did some checking on the grounds. The wiring isn't the best and am going through it. Has anyone else had this problem after replacing fly wheel. I've been messing with this for weeks in my spare time and am about to just junk it if i dont figure it out. Took it to a mechanic and he couldn't figure it out. Any advice will help. What are the main reasons for backfiring on a renix system. What vacuum lines are needed for the system to operate properly. I dont have the stock airbox thats why i ask. New TPS. Still havent did the cbox delete was waiting to see if i can fix it without having to. Please someone help. Read alot of cruiser54 stuff and still cant figure it out.

I would start with checking spark timing and making sure the plug wires are right per cruiser54. Then I would move on to checking if the cam timing is right.

Perhaps he put the wrong flywheel in. 91 and later bolt on but don't work on Renix.

Or, he got a defective chinese piece of crap which isn't clocked correctly.

Thank your cruiser i have been waiting to see if you would reply. Will it start and idle with the wrong flywheel. I can take a video and send it to you if that will help. This has been a nightmare. Also there is a little silver square looking relay on the passenger side engine bay do you know what that is for. Also do you know were i can pick up a good flywheel if that one is bad. Dont wanna pull the trans to check it but i think i might have to . I just wanna be trail riding lol

Take a peek up in there. The one with the most "windows" is the Renix.
If it's an HO flexplate, you know what you need to do. Get a good used Renix one.
If it's a new Renix flexplate, you know what to do. Get a good used Renix one.
Let's see a photo of this silver relay.
