Sorry Dude. All XJs have what is called a Unibody frame. The frame and body are one. No body lift option with this rig. You'll have to do a suspension lift.

No worrys, Bro. I'm glad you asked before you bought a body lift that you couldn't use. The only dumb question is the one that isn't asked.

Not a problem. We were all new to this at one time or another. Congrats on your first Jeep. Have fun and stay safe.

MdgtRac, I have a set of 4 inch lift coils that my son bought and never used taking up room in my garage. I also have a set of 4.5 inch lift Rusty's lower control arms. I bet among all the guys in the forum, if asked, we could put you together a full lift kit on the cheap from spare parts guys have just laying around.

Man you guys are way to nice.... This was a perfect opportunity & you blew it

I would have told him they were under the seats & he needed to remove the seats to get at them & the front ones were under the radiator & the rear well you get the message

I wont sharing any of my snipe hunting stories either

Well, you just learned the difference between Cherokee Forum and some other forums out there that will remain unamed. Here, we don't flame a guy in the face for being the new guy to XJs that is trying to figure out hyow to modify his Jeep on the cheap. If you get off on doing that crap then go to another forum.

I thought the same thing when I bought my first XJ, I looked all over for the mounts. But as much as these things flex there is no way I would put a bodylift on if it were possible.

That's why I don't have electric windows in my XJ. If I need some fresh air I just flex it out real good....air starts coming in from everywhere...LOL.

Nah, sorry Six-Pack. They aren't the adjustable ones. They are the fixed LCA that come with the Rusty's 4.5 inch lift....but, if you want them, they are yours.

I can see how this is deserving of a nomination but, I think he learned something, too.....so, win win.
