Default Please help me out.

Im having a problem with my dash lights and tail lights, the fuses are good, the bulbs are good, and i just replaced the headlight switch thinking that was the problem. Im stumped on what to check next and Im new to electrical systems. If anyone knows of something else to check please let me know. thanks!

I would start chasing the wiring. With renix though Clean all your ground wires up might help.

do you have a multimeter.

sorry typo lol. my dash lights and tail lights are out. and no i dont have one but i can borrow one from someone.

How did you determine the bulbs were all good? A bulb can be bad and still look functional. I had the same problem, turned out to be the license light bulb, bulb looked fine to the eye.

wait so if one bulb is out it can cause my other lights to go out as well? i just visually inspected them and they looked fine. How else can i tell if they are bad? Thanks

my lights are still out, ive cleaned my grounds but where should i start checking my wires at for electricity, are there any known spots that they fail at alot? thanks guys

First place would be at the socket of the dead lamps. For any serious tracing, you'll prolly need a wiring diagram.

this is standard shift right some time when the clutch master goes bad it leaks in side the cab and runs down onto fuse box melting the fuse box check for current on both side of the fuses in the box with key on i had to cut the wires from the back of mine at the radio and stop lamp fuse and put in in line fuses

well ive gotten half of the fuse box off but i cant get the engine side wires to come out. heres some pictures of what im working with. do all the connections look factory to you guys? it looks to me like someone was already in here.

It looked pretty good till you got to the third and forth pics.

I really don't know what to say. What a mess.

with a test light check the back of where the suspect problem fuses are located for current

ok i will try that next, i dont have a picture of the front but where my blower motor fuse should be its all melted like the fuse caught on fire!
