And again as free said....Look for the wires that are dead, cut them away from the block if you can't find their power, and back feed them through a fuse holder.

be very care full some of those wire will have current even thought the key is off

if you look at the back of the box where the wires connect to it you will have ones that connect to metal stripe that feed the fuses they will be thicker than others those are the feeds the others go to different accesorie in the truck

ok i just looked at the back of the fuse box and i couldnt find the wires im looking for, just to be sure the rear running lights are black and blue right? the PO even cut one of the wires right off from the fuse box. sorry guys im a newb to wiring ha.

and by the way its an 89 laredo 4L with power doors, locks. if it makes a difference.

can you post a pic of the front of the fuse box where the fuses plug in so we can see what fuse is where in the box

im trying to see which fuses have a common power supply in this photo this is just an example there will be metal strips in the back that supply power to the fuses are the suspect problem area on the same bars on yours

look i this area in the back of fuse box i see the heater fuse is in line with the others you said are the problem with lights

not all connectors will have a wire in them concentrate on the bar that cross the problem fuses,you might find its one of the ones that have been spliced allready
