Hey,

Could anyone help me identify what this line is Im fairly new to all this so please excuse my ignorance. Also with this line broken what problems could it cause? My heat only comes out from the defrost vents could it be because of this broken line?

From the T connection the line is broken on the opposite side of my hand, and the line runs down toward the radiator, under the battery.

My Jeep is a 99 Cherokee Classic

This vacuum line goes to a vacuum canister behind the bumberm, it will affect your vent funtions, when I bought my cherokee my vent functions where messed up, upon further investigation, my vacuum canister (ball) was missing, I simply plugged this line and now my vents function according to the climate controls on the dash

Bottom line, if this is leaking or cracked it will affect the funtioning of your climate controls

This just controls the heater doors that are ran by the vacuum. Doesn't really affect the heat just where the heat comes out at.
