Default Plugs and Plug Wires

I'm about to do a tune up on the XJ. Gonna start with new plugs, wires, rotor and cap. What plugs and plug wires are ya'll running? What's the best setup for the XJ?

if you want to rewire your distributor, msd 6al is the best way to go. But if not i just use bosch platinums, msd 8mm wires, and a lifetime warranty cap/rotor.

I got Champion RC12LYC, Accel 8mm wires, cap, rotor, and coil. Had a box one time, I love them, until...Like everything else on that damn thing, it broke. That's what I get for getting a used one...

Champion plugs Accel wires. Get a good quality cap and rotor with nice brass ends.

^ the cap will have gold-colored tips if you're not sure.
And don't forget to snot all the boots (both ends) of the wires, the terminals on the cap, and the ceramic on the plugs. This is a case where too much is alright...

I got an oem cap and rotor for $26, so I'm running that... What napa wires are you running? The premiums for $30+ or the universals?

Champion plugs and ive always had good luck with Napa wires (Belden). Never had a problem out of them.
