Definitely go with Champion Plugs. Bosch plugs sucked in my Toyletta, sucked in my son's 87 XJ and my wife's 06 Liberty. They cost more than Good old Champs and you couldn't give a set of them to me. I concur with a good cap and rotor with brass contacts. So far, I haven't had to put new wires on my XJ. Whatever kind I have, they're damn good at 4 years and still going strong.

I put a set of those Accel Super 8MM wires, that had to be cut to length, on the 350 that was in my old 67 Camaro. Those things were a PITA to get the ends crimped on right. They worked great once I got them crimped right and put on.

That little crimp tool that you get with the wires when you buy them is a POS.They should hook a guy up better than that for what they cost.

There's a special set of electrical pliers that's just for doing 8mm wires. If you look around you can sometimes find the ones that do 8 & 9 mm wires...Makes it a lot easier. Doing them with the little vice tool isn't all that bad either...
