Can anyone tell me if or where I can find a woven steel lines for on the upper and lower transmission lines
to replace both the rubber cooling and return lines that run into radiator with snaps , unions or connectors .
I have flared steel lines once it worked but was horrific to do.

I'm going to be replacing my trans cooler lines soon as they are leaking and rusty also. I plan on just connecting up to the who quick disconnect hardlines that come off the radiator with braided ptfe line since they are in great shape still and it'll save me a few bucks.
two 6an 3/8 male quick disconnect fittings (will connect to both radiator hard lines)
two M14x1.5MM to Male an6 flare fittings with orings (replaces both of the fittings at the transmission)
two 6ft braided PTFE hose assembled with 90degree and straight ends from www.anplumbing.com
two an6 hose separator clamps
Gonna be about $105 so depending on where you get two new factory style hard lines, fittings, orings to replace with it's same prices or a few bucks cheaper this route
If you want to replace the hard line at the top of the radiator that runs down in front of the rad with braided ptfe the whole way then you'll need:
upper rad fitting - https://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-220667B and a 90 degree fitting to your braided an6 ptfe line

We sourced the web for hours. I'm a bit surprised nobody makes steel into stainless flex like stock but no rubber. Instead we ordered a Flareing Tool from Ridged Tool Co. And a bender.
I replaced rubber with steel on a old Buick a few years back with a ancient flareing tool ànd box end wrenches. Not fun but it worked. With that in mind and a 48 *****'s in garage ready
Disc Brakes /split master cly. It is time to upgrade tools and getter done. I once ruined a automatic from the use of hoses and clamps . I grew up that stuff was all steel ,all of it. I' haveMore money in the tools than parts but it won't like wrestling a black bear to do it either. Again thank you and good luck with your projects.

I'm wondering ...Could you take the lines to a hydraulic place and have them crimp on new braided SS lines? Some 'good' parts stores and implement dealers can do hoses too. When I bought new tranny lines they were a lot cheaper than I thought they'd be. A guy could probably buy a new set of lines and have the hose ends re-done. Or....can you just get a braided sheath to slip over the new rubber hoses? There are lots of kits on ebay for $20 up to ...whatever, depending on what you want to spend. I would think that ought to keep the critters from munching on your hose ![Thumbs Up](https://www.cherokeeforum.com/images/smilies/1.gif)
