You are banking on a "lifetime warranty" on a switch you purchased with a "limited lifetime warranty" (60 days?), you should investigate the difference between the two.
If you don't want to fix the cold solder joints, an OEM replacement switch was only $17.47 more...

I talked to the company and as long as it's not damaged as in crushed or anything like that is warranty. If anything electrical fails it's covered.
