Not the lock mechanism. Just an actuator.

I searched ebay several times and couldn't find anything under $45. What search are you using?

Have you used universal actuator? Stock, they are all one unit with the latching mechanism.

Let me know what you do and how it turns out.

I have yet to take my door panels off to check, but in a guide for replacing actuators someone in the forum just drilled the rivets out that held in the old actuators and bolted in new ones. I'll have to check if I remember tomorrow. Will let you know!

To use a universal you will need to find a way to mount it under the door panel and splice into your stock wiring so that it receives the signal to actuate the door locks.

The universals are a lot cheaper but I prefer to keep my wiring in tact. My used part was $22 including the price of admission. I like hitting the local wrecking yards from time to time. You never know what you are going to find. I also snagged a door check for my drivers door at the sme time.
