Power to manual conversion
I have a 1988 jeep cherokee 4dr/4wd, and I'm curious what it would take to swap it from power locks/windows/seats, to manual... There's a gremlin in the electrical from all the previous owners messing around with things, adding a plow, extra lights... It's a mess... I'm wondering if I can just pull the seats and doors and replace them with manual ones... Thank you in advance...

Yep. It's not complicated. You just need the manual parts and some time. Basic tools. Pull out old, put in new. Cap the old wires and tie them up out of the way, too.
Finding the parts might be fun. Keep an eye on Craigslist in your area, and the Parting Out section of this forum. There's also a section where you can post wanted parts.
On the other hand, you could try fixing it with a bit of help from folks on this forum. We're always glad to give you a hard time.
