power steering mounting bolt stripped out and leaking

power steering mounting bolt stripped out and leaking
i stripped out the bottom mounting bolt replacing the power steering pump for the umptenth time and now it seems to be leaking from around that mounting bolt is that possible?

If it's a mounting bolt that just mounts the pump to the adjuster bracket then no. A picture would be helpful though.
It's probably leaking from somewhere above it and running down to that spot so it appears to be coming from the bolt.

The bottom hose may have split where its clamped to the pump and leaking fluid. Make sure the top line is tight. I think there is an o-ring in that one? Could be pinched or tore. Doublecheck everything else for possible leaks as the fan will blow fluids around while driving.

I had one leak from the rear seal recently. Took me forever to realize it was coming from there and not the cap or the lines. Wipe off the rear area really well then check again like 50 miles later.
