OK, I have a 2000 XJ I just bought. I am having a few issues that I can't fix. I posted up already about oil pressure. Also, I can't get the windows to work. When I bought it, the driver's side windows both worked, but the passenger windows never worked. Then, the drivers side worked intermittently. Now I have nothing.
I replaced the DDM and nothing. I noticed that the LED lights on the switches all work. When I press the lock out, it cuts the power to LED on the other doors as it should. However, when I go to roll down the windows, the LED also cuts out. I thought it was the DDM switch, but after buying a new one, it didn't change anything. Any thoughts or suggestions?
The guy who owned this before me installed an after market stereo. I can see that they accessed the ignition for this. I wonder if he got something wrong when he did this. All other power things work. Power locks, power mirrors, the stereo, the rear defroster, etc...everything else works.

The other issues I am having with Jeep I posted elsewhere, but just in case they might be connected. I don't think so: Oil pressure goes down when idling and AC fades away over time.

Check contunoity on all the wires in the drivers door harness from the master switch to the plug at the upper kick panel. My guess is you got a bad wire in that harness
