Default Power windows struggle

I have an 89 xj Laredo. All power window motors work from all switches however beside the drivers window, all other windows struggle to roll up with the LR window requiring me to manually assist it to close. Seems to be that the glass is not sliding well in the rails. Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, what was the cure? I am leaning toward removing the glass and cleaning the tracks well and greasing the mechanism. Thank you for your help. -Kent

I don't think you need to remove the glass, but greasing the tracks should help.

I had the same issue, although I didn't need to lift the glass by hand my windows moved at a noticeable slower rate than they should. I brushed out and vacuumed a large amount of dust from the window channel felt and sprayed it with a silicone based lube that didn't remain wet and didn't attract dust. That with using white lithium spray in the window regulator track helped my windows travel like new.

This rig was in AZ for several years. I bet blowing dust and sand out and then lubing as you say will take care of it. Thanks for your advice and safe wheeling to you.
