I took it around the block and when acceleraating there was a poping noise and ran very rough. Parked and shut it off for a couple mins and it refuses to start again. Won't even crank. Battery is brand new and measuring good volts. Also have a "GEN" light on which shows alternator but would that cause the motor to not turn over at all? Any ideas?
Double check connections on alternator? Do you have a multimeter? Check battery voltage. Generator light isn't on for no reason.

Hey guys figured out the problem was the NSS on the tranny, I no it's dirty and needs to be cleaned and or replaced but, I can't seem to get it off the shaft on the tranny and using the bolt as a fulcrum to get it off just starts stripping the threads. Also I know it was this because I moved it enough to get whatever gunk out from stopping it and it started. Any ideas how to get it off?
