Problems after pulling the dash for heater core replacement
I pulled my dash in order to change a leaky heater core in my 1999 Cherokee this weekend. I now have a couple of problems - when I put the instrument cluster back in, I get the "no bus" message and the gauges don't work. I took it apart and used contact cleaner on the connections and it doesn't seem to help. Also, I can't get my blower motor to work now. When I turn on the switch, the relay in front of the blower (Behind the glove box) buzzes, but the fan does not come on.
I can't help but think all of this comes from a wiring problem, but I have checked the connections, opened them again, cleaned them, and reassembled, but no success. Are there any ideas about which connection might be causing all this? Or any other ideas of things to check?

I was able to get everything working again. I must have had a poor connection in the main wiring junction just to the right of the steering column. I took it apart and reconnected several times during the troubleshooting process, and the last time going back together, everything suddenly worked. Best of luck, NPerryman!
