Agreed JD. Let's let him plug the hole into the manifold and take it from there. Agreed again on the injector O rings. I got one wrong once that caused a vac leak.

I just found a Yellow Jacket hive with the weed whacker on my driveway. To bad someone didn't film my fat **** runnen down the road trying to hit the kill switch on the whacker while swatting at 100 yellow jackets!
They got me 8 or 10 times...Tomorrow I'll visit them with a quart of diesel for their hole.

You need a stand off weapon like a flamethrower.

In shorts, at dusk with fogged up safety glasses, bouncing twigs and stuff off my legs with the trimmer.

I couldn't hear them, I couldn't see them, and a little stingy feeling is normal trimming in shorts. They were out in numbers getting me good before I realized something was up!

I've done this a few times in 35 years here. Sneek up when it's cool with a quart (wide mouth) mason jar full of Kerosene or diesel. Clap it over the hole for just a few seconds is all it takes to drain. Walk away and let the vapors do their thing. Vid of the hole here.

So I pretty much did everything I said I was going to do, and it works! Only problem is it has white smoke coming from a bolt hole on the intake/exhaust manifold. I'm thinking trying to tighten it more should work. Thoughts?

Any chance you could tell us "did everything I said I was going to do" I mean, well, that is sort of a goofy post/solution. Your post #7? Removed and re-seat the manifold?

If smoke is coming from a bolt hole, what do you intend to tighten?

Just sayen...

I adjusted the intake, covered all the holes and replaced the TB. I would tighten the bolt in the hole that smoke is coming from to try stopping it.

Just had it overheat. Test drove it on the highway, after maybe 10 minutes it would rattle around 60, I started to slow down and pull over and the temp gauge shot to red instantly, and it died before I came to a stop. Tons of smoke coming from the engine. From what looked like the upper radiator hose, and the hole I described earlier, also the driver side of the valve cover in the middle.
