Problems pulling axel on 1989 Laredo-Dana 35

Went to Walmart and bought a Dremel, always wanted one.
Had a good excuse to get one now.
Had to buy the race, bearing, and inner seal (had outer seal).
Spoiled myself and bought a seal puller and a bearing race & seal driver set.
And to top it off got a axle puller for my slide hammer.
Next weekend I plan on replacing the seals and bearings for the other side.
Appears to be a lot of play (wear) in the bearing.
By the way, the race in the axle did not just walk out with a screw driver, but good advice.
Wonder if it is possible to cut it off with the Dremel?
Sears sells a race puller tool, but they didn't have one in stock.
This has been quite the project, but I enjoy being a gear head.
Any more suggestions on how to remove a stubborn axle bearing race?
Nothing has been easy, so far.
Well I am enjoying working on this Jeep and I am getting closer to being done than I was yesterday.

Use slide hammer with single hook on end.Hook behind race and work from side to side until it comes out.

Be careful using the single hook. May get it wedged in there. Something like this is what I use.

The race didn't come out, so I took the Dremel tool and cut it out.
It took a little while to cut it, at least it came out.
Have to order the inner seal tomorrow and I won't have it till this Saturday.
It's going ok.
Wish I would of had the race puller.
Still have to work on the axle and get the retaining ring off.
I'll do that tomorrow.

Thanks!~black89-(your ride is nice) and everyone else that has been helping me.
I cut the race (in the axle housing) off with the Dremel tool. It took all of 5 minutes (it took way longer to charge the battery on the Dremel). Well I plan on cutting off the bearing and the retaining ring off the axle tonight.
The only thing slowing me down is the parts (inner axle seals) on order.
The drivers side rear is not leaking, but I am going to do both sides.
I plan on doing the rear brakes also.
I cleaned all the break hardware in the kitchen sink with Dawn dish deteregent.
My friend in Wi. (but I live in Montana) has one of those solvent part cleaners.
Hope everything goes smooth from now on.
I really like this Jeep because it is a 5 speed and 4x4 and has some decent tires.
It hasn't been raised, but sits high.
It has a good stero and speakers.
Paint not to good, but makes it look more rugged (dark brown).
Bored driving my automatic RAV4.
Painted my calipers and drums (caliper red) and they look great behind the wheels.
