Yes, once it's out and any rust problems are cleaned up, you can always decide to pay someone to reinstall it.
If you do reinstall it yourself:
I didn't use enough the first time and had to redo it!
If you do reinstall it yourself:
- Get the rubber trim! Fuhgeddaboud the old aluminum trim!
- Research the right sealant - you need a tarry guck that secures the rubber to the windshield, as well as the window urethane.
- Stick the rubber to the window.
- Then apply the urethane to the pinch weld.
- Use enough urethane!
- Then pop the windshield in place. A suction cup is nice.
