Default Quality torque converter shaft seal?

99 XJ classic.115,000 miles. Engines out and I want to replace the torque converter seal. From what I see the OEM is discontinued.
I see about 4 or 5 different brands available. I think I’ve found a factory toyota number 90311-38077 that crosses over and is still available. Not sure tho.
What brand is working for you if you’ve replaced yours. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
BTW the 22 year old factory seal isn’t leaking.

Since that transmission (Aisin-Warner AW4) was built by Aisin and used extensively in Toyotas, I'd say you're good to go. You can try the fit on the torque converter and pump housing, but I'm pretty sure it's right.

Thanks Dave. I ordered a timken but I’ll order the Toyota seal also after a second opinion. All the seals are $10 or less anyway.
I’ll make sure to check the fit and compare the 2 seals.

Posted on the wrong topic by accident as I was scrolled to the bottom. How can I delete my post? I only see edit.
