dought your balancer is not gonna cause a shake at idle.............it sounds like you have a Miss...assuming all of your spark system is 100% do you have any lifter noise? any tap's noises coming from the motor? Listen to your exhaust and tell me if you here a pop noise.

 

I agree X3 the harmonic balancer, they will cause and engine to shack, but run normal...

 

Everything runs normal, when I am going down the road you cannot feel the shake at all but when I am settting still just at an Idle it shakes pretty bad. Will the pop be from the a set still or will I have to be moving.

 

well it is not that easy to tell if the HB is bad in most cases
but look for cracking in the rubber and try to move the out side ring front to back
you can use small pry bare to put a little pressure on it if it moves easy then that could be the culprit

do the cap and rotor first

 

my jeep runs awesome but shakes at idle and has a noticable miss sound through the exhaust....But i have Lifter noise which i know is from a lifter not pumping up fully and causing a miss.
