Quick exhaust/glasspack question
So i got my exhaust done at a local shop and they installed a muffler and tip but re used my stock pipe. Long story short it wasnt loud enough so I bought a Glasspack and cut out my old muffler and installed it. Its decent now i was wondering if I changed the size of my piping if it would make it deeper. Should i change all of it to like 3" or could i just do from the back of the glasspack back? any advice would be greatly appreciated. Im game to try anything
Thanks
Thanks

A larger exhaust pipe should produce a deeper sound, but I believe it's been determined that 2.5" pipe is the best overall size for the XJ if you don't want to sacrifice any performance. The size of the pipe after the glasspack should not really affect performance so you could probably go as big as you want. Just don't make it a ricer!

oh hell no. i hate the sound of a ricer. I was looking for a deeper sound. I figured the size of the pipe after the glass pack would hopefully make it deeper. Im probably wrong though
