Default quick question about tcase swap

Hey all,

I was just wondering a quick question and I can't find it through searching.

I have a 91 limited with AW4 tranny and i believe 242? tcase since it has fulltime 4wd option also.

Can i bolt the part time only tcase to my aw4?

or are the tranny to tcase mounts different? my brother has an extra tcase he said i can just have if i want it thats why i ask.

Thanks for your help in advance,
Matt

Depends what it's out of..

Your rig is most likely a 23 spline, earlier were 21 spline and wont bolt up. Theres other issues if it's from a Grand or Wrangler for example.

You'll need the shifter/bezel for that transfer too.

No, both tcases are good, I just have the oppurtunity to get ahold of a part time case for free, so I was wondering if it would bolt up to my aw4 that is currently equipped with a fulltime 242 case.

He has the tranny also so I will probably get the whole setup.

Thanks again overland I value your input and will definently be picking up the tcase and tranny tommorow =)
