Radiator fan turning on and off????

Radiator fan turning on and off????
My left fan is constantly starting up and shutting off non stop, my temp holds staedy around 208 so I don't think it's a big deal but I want to get it fixed

Just throwing this out there. Not sure now which fan it was but if your AC system is low and your running the defrost or the AC the fan will kick on and off with the compressor. That's what mine did. I filled the system and it stopped.

Sorry to thread jack, but is there a way to keep the AC from kicking on when the defroster is on? Kind of annoying on those cold mornings when I'm trying to defrost the windshield and let the Jeep warm up...

Yeah. That might be the best solution during the winter. I was running hot last summer during the 100+* days and upgraded my radiator, water pump, and replaced everything else, including the engine. I'm finding it's taking a long time to get to operating temps in the mornings even with a dealer thermostat, and the aux fan kicking on doesn't help. My temps are steady at 200 - 210* once it warms up, I guess I could even run a 60/40 mix of antifreeze/water to increase temps a bit.

Compressor is engaged in any of the 5 vent selector positions circled in yellow. The 2 white vent selector positions not circled, the compressor does not engage.
