Default radio and wipers

I went to start my cherokee the other day and the wipers and radio didnt work so i started checking fuses and they were all good but when i have it in battery/ accessory the radio and wipers work, as soon as the engine starts there's nothing. it gets a little sketchy driving when its starting to rain or snow. If anyone has experienced this or knows what to do to fix it help would be appreciated.

When the radio and wipers aren't working, do your power mirrors if fitted work?
The diagram also shows driver and passenger door modules which I'm guessing control your locks and windows.

If all of this sounds right, the only common link here is the ignition switch. Everything works when in accessory but not run sounds like the contacts for run aren't working anymore. I'm sure the switch has multiple outputs for accessory and run hence why other circuits still function.

The power windows don't work or the power locks, it will unlock but not lock but that's with the key out just when I open the door

Got you. I should have gone to sleep half an hour ago so I can't go diving into your locks right now to see what else may cause that. But I do still think it's going to be an ignition switch issue causing your radio and wipers.

I'm not worried about the locks I can do that the old fashioned way, how do I test the ignition switch?

The brown wire at the ignition switch is melted, as is that switch terminal. Just a wild guess.....
