Facepalm? lol i see the black ground wire from the radio harness is spliced to a black and yellow wire but i didnt see that on the color lists :\?

You are right, just cut it and connected to the other black and if you can eliminate those butt connectors and solder the wires.

Okay, so if i cut the black and yellow wire, tape it off, then cut the black wire beneath the plastic clip and solder it to the black wire on the radio i should be good?

That will definitely cause a short. Did the previous owner bypass the factory connectors, or just cut the harness and use butt-connectors? I hate butt-connectors

I think he cut the harness out and used but connectors which I'm guessing means I would need to find a factory connector in order to use the radio wiring harnesses available online. How it looks is all the OEM wires are mostly soldered to the radio wires a few are butt connections. The radio words then flow into a "plug" best word I can think and this plug clips into the back of the radio.

You wold have to buy this one too.Since he already cut it, in my opinion I would just fix that hack job that he did.Unless in the future you plan on getting another better radio.
