Have you thought of joining a local club and finding a mentor? I grew up in the car culture of Southern CA in the 60's. I love this stuff, but I have a good understanding of the basics. Find a friend that can help guide you. You need hands on help, not an internet forum. Once you have that, you will be the right track.

You definitely need someone else to take a look at this who has experience. Trying to fix this without help from anyone who can look at it in person is asking for a fire.

I had the same problem. Easy fix. Put the key in the ignition. Open and close the driver door. Turn the key to the on and off position seven times. Be sure not to engage the starter. Just off and on. Once you did this seven times and the key is in the off position. Open and close the door again. It will reset your factory computer system and everything should be ok if you followed these procedures correctly.

Now my radio won't turn on and the cigarette lighter doesn't work either. I didn't have a diagram for the fuses so I just changed them all and it didn't do any justice. Can you help me out here?

That's odd.

Normally the cigar lighter is not powered unless the ignition switch is to ACC or RUN. Did you have the ignition switch in the OFF position when this happened?

As stated in previous posts, fuse #2 in the Fuse Block powers the radio and the cigar lighter. Have you checked replaced it?

Do your dome light and courtesy lights come on when you open the driver's door? If not, check the IOD fuse in the Fuse Block. It's #9 fuse. The IOD powers the radio as well as other circuits.

Does your radio work if you put the ignition switch to ACC or RUN?

Do the radio illumination lights come on when you turn your headlights on?

Has there been any aftermarket mods done to the Jeep, like remote start or an alarm system?

yeah the key was in the ignition and the car was on ACC I wasn't paying attention. I have replaced fuse 2 and 9. Everything works normally I checked headlights, blinkers, etc. and the only thing that doesn't work is the cigarette lighter and the radio. This is all happen because I was cleaning out the cigarette lighter and stuck a flathead in it and sparked and immediately my radio went dead along with cigarette lighter.

I've checked the all fuses and have even changed them. Should I start putting my dash back together?

Have you checked power to/from the fuse with a multimeter?

I would remove the radio and find a geek shop that could go through it see it's smoked or not. If it's okay then you need to look further. If it's smoked, get another one.

Personally, I used the cigar lighter spot to install a switch to isolate my AC. My cigar lighter never worked.

See...

the fuses looked fine and spiffy which has lead me to believe it's something wrong with the wires.
